A New Beginning
It has been a long time since I have done this. I have not managed a personal blog since the early 2000’s now at this point in my life it is time to start again. I am not doing this to build some type of large readership or even to attract clients. I need to do this for me to help me keep my thoughts inline and keep me on track.
I have had a lot of personal things happen over the last few years. Divorced after 30 years or marriage, multiple hospitalizations, lost a business, got in serious legal issues and to top it all off a mental breakdown. Now not all is bad. I have reconnected with church and am building a deeper understanding of what it is to walk in God’s grace. I have also connected with people who hopefully will have a permeant place in my life.
So this blog isn’t about polished posts or pretending everything is figured out. It’s a place for me to work through things out loud, to document the process of rebuilding from the inside out. I don’t know exactly what shape this journey will take, but I’m committed to walking it with honesty, intention, and faith.
If someone finds something here that helps them along the way, that’s great—but at the end of the day, this space is just a reflection of where I am, where I’ve been, and where, God willing, I’m going.
Some of this will get gritty. I have a goal to get into a POFU my the end of 2026. I have a plan but getting off my ass to get things done has been more of the problem. Nothing happens in a vacuum and I have to get my head into the game and out of the void.
Those that know welcome to the ride. Those that don’t keep coming back or don’t I really do not care.
